Unlike Kelly, this will not count towards the Paramour Achievement. Samara can have a Romance continued, but only via interactions in the Citadel DLC.Notably, doing so WILL count towards the Paramour Achievement in Mass Effect 3. Thane lovers are highly reccommended to have the Citadel DLC for additional scenes.
Thane Krios will have a compromised Romance with Shepard thanks to Kepral's Syndrome, which will be further complicated halfway into the game. You're able to bring up the topic when you meet him, and in the Citadel DLC. Jacob Taylor, previously a serious Romance from Mass Effect 2, cannot have their Romance continued in Mass Effect 3. There are additionally four other characters who deserve special highlighting: Female Shepards: Garrus Vakarian, Kaidan Alenko, Thane Krios. Male Shepards: Ashley Williams, Jack, Miranda Lawson, Tali'Zorah vas Normandy. Serious legacy Romances that can be continued in Mass Effect 3 include: It is HIGHLY recommended that you have the Citadel DLC if you want to get the most out of these Romances, as it provides additional meetups and other scenes with them. The general advice is still the same though: pick nice, Paragon options in order to please them and have Shepard be compatible with them.
